Selecting Recycled Parts

Use this operation to select a recycled part from a supplier. This screen displays the wholesale cost of the recycled parts, calculates the markup, and provides the retail price. When you enter this screen for the first time, if the recycled parts information has expired, the program will display a reminder message.

To select recycled parts data

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab. The estimate lines display.
3. Select the MOTOR tab.
4. Select the MOTOR or Motorcycle tab.
5. Select a group, a subgroup, and a part from the database panel.
6. If your estimating rules are set to automatically display recycled parts, select the Replace, Section, or Recy button. The Select Recycled Parts screen opens.

   If your estimating rules are not set to automatically display recycled parts, select the Recy button. The Select Recycled Parts screen opens.
7. Select the supplier in the Data tab, and then enter the part and labor values as needed.
8. Move through the screen entering the information in the Data and Add Time tabs.
9. Click OK to add the entry to the estimate lines.
10. Click Save or Save and Close.

1. Open the workfile.
2. Select the Estimate tab, and then select the Lines tab. The estimate lines display.
3. Select the MOTOR tab.
4. Select a group, a subgroup, and a part from the database panel.
5. Select the Recy button from the Operations toolbar. The Select Recycled Parts screen opens.
6. Move through the screen entering the information in the Data and Add Time tabs.
7. Click OK to add the entry to the estimate lines
8. Click Save or Save and Close.
